Nomex is an organic polymer resistant to high temperatures. It consists of short fibers and aramid fibrous particles.

These elements are combined through traditional paper making techniques. Derived sheets of material are densified and related through calendering machines at high temperatures.

Nomex is widely used as a coil, phase and barrier insulator, as a resistance support for potentiometers and low power heating appliances. Moreover it is also used for connection and processor insulation and inductance.
